I was born here in Houlton, ME in 1994 and lived here the first 8 years of my life. In April of 1998, at just the age of 4, I accepted Christ as my personal Saviour. I was in the family van with my mom when I began asking her about Jesus and Heaven. I realized at that young age that I was in fact a sinner and that I needed Jesus to save me.
After I asked my mom more questions and she asked me questions to make sure I understood, I accepted Christ and asked Him to forgive me of my sins. It wasn't glamorous or intense, but I know God saved me on that day. In the past I have questioned my salvation and wondered if it was real because I wasn't saved out of a terrible lifestyle. However, I know that my sin was just as bad as anyones and I needed to be saved that day. When I was 11 years old, while sitting in my room I felt that the Lord was calling me to the ministry.
It is hard to describe the feeling I had, but I was sure that God wanted me to serve Him in the ministry. I devoted my heart and life to Him and committed to do whatever He wanted me to do. Many times when God calls, Satan will try to cast doubt. That happened to me after I made that commitment to do what God wanted me to do with my life. At the age of 12, I attended a youth conference in Chicago, Illinois. During that time, God assured me that I was to go into the full time ministry. I haven't looked back ever since.
I married my beautiful wife in December of 2013 and God has blessed us with four Children; James, Josias, Jada, and Joy.
On July 25th, 2021, I obeyed the call of God to be the Senior Pastor of Shiretown Baptist Church.
